The Day After

What to do with a guest after you publish

A free, recorded session on the routine I run for every guest: the first 48 hours, then the three weeks after. So the relationship does not go cold the day the episode goes live.

  1. Hour 0

Write down what you promised on tape

Every "I'll send you that book" and "I'll introduce you to Sarah" is the only part of the conversation that was about the future. Pull them out of the transcript before they go back into the file.

  2. Day 1

Send the first email: here is your link and your clips

The episode is live, here is your page, here are your best sixty seconds. No ask. This one gives.

  3. Day 2

    Send the second: what worked

The quote people responded to, the carousel, who shared. Something the guest can use in their own bio.

  4. Week 3

Send the third: what I would love to do next

A part two. An introduction. A joint thing. The first two emails give. This is the one that asks, and it lands because you asked after you gave.

  5. After that

Keep a record you can search

A guest page with their notes, what they said, and what you owe them, so the relationship does not live in an audio file nobody will open again.

The routine is easier when the tool remembers

PodGlue keeps every guest, what they said, and what you promised them, so the follow-up is sitting there when you open the app instead of buried in a transcript.
