Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with PodGlue in under 10 minutes.

Get up and running with PodGlue using the current onboarding flow.

What You'll Accomplish

By the end of this guide, you'll have:

  • Created your account and workspace
  • Finished the onboarding session
  • Configured your AI workbook
  • Added your first episode or RSS feed
  • Generated your first AI content

Step 1: Create Your Account

  1. Sign up for a PodGlue account.
  2. Complete sign-up and verify your email.
  3. Sign in to enter onboarding.

Step 2: Start Onboarding

After signing in, PodGlue opens the onboarding session automatically.

*Start on the welcome screen, then continue into workspace setup.*

The onboarding session now has five stages:

  1. Welcome
  2. Workspace Profile
  3. Cover Art
  4. Distribution
  5. AI Configuration

Step 3: Complete Your Workspace Profile

In Workspace Profile, enter the core details for your podcast workspace:

  • Workspace Name: your show or brand name
  • Workspace Description: your show mission or positioning
  • Primary Host: your name or main host name
  • Co-Host: optional
  • Host Photo: optional headshot

*Fill in the workspace profile before moving to cover art.*

PodGlue checks workspace name availability during this step, so use the final name you want for the workspace.

Step 4: Generate Cover Art

In Cover Art, PodGlue drafts a cover prompt using your:

  • workspace name
  • description
  • host identity
  • optional host photo

You can:

  • refresh the prompt
  • upload an inspiration image
  • generate a 1:1 podcast cover
  • continue even if you want to create artwork later

Step 5: Add Distribution Details

In Distribution, add your public show URL if you already have one.

You can paste:

  • an RSS feed URL
  • an Apple Podcasts URL
  • or leave it blank and continue

This step is optional. PodGlue uses the link later for imports, metadata, and review workflows.

Step 6: Finish AI Configuration

After the workspace is created, onboarding continues into the required AI Configuration workbook.

You will complete six documents:

  1. Author & Personal Details Guide
  2. Personal Voice & Speaking Style Guide
  3. Business & Ideal Client Profile
  4. Professional Business Report
  5. Style Guide
  6. Entrepreneur POV Profile

For each section, PodGlue gives you a prompt to copy into your AI tool, then a place to paste or upload the finished document.

You can also expand AI Guardrails to define:

  • banned words
  • banned phrases
  • em-dash guidance

When all six sections are complete, click Complete Setup to enter the app.

Step 7: Add Your First Episode

Episode import now happens after onboarding, not during the workspace setup flow.

Once you land in the app, your fastest paths are:

  • Upload an episode: add audio, video, or transcript files
  • Import from RSS: sync your existing feed
  • Add your guests: start building your guest library

If you do not have a transcript yet, common options include:

  • Descript
  • Otter.ai
  • Rev
  • Whisper-based transcription tools

Step 8: Generate AI Content

After your episode is in PodGlue, go to the Episodes Library and run Auto-Pilot or individual passes.

Auto-Pilot can run:

  • Forge
  • Social Lab
  • SEO Lab
  • Manuscript on the Amplify plan and above

Individual Passes

Pass / Module What It Generates
Forge Titles, descriptions, chapters, themes, resources
Social Lab Social posts and platform-specific copy
Manuscript Long-form book-style output
SEO Lab SEO score, keywords, and optimization suggestions
Pre-Show / Run of Show Planning structure for upcoming episodes
Visual Assets -> Quotes Quote extraction and shareable assets

Where To Run Each Pass

  • Forge: Forge
  • Social: Social Lab
  • SEO: SEO Lab
  • Manuscript: Manuscript
  • Quotes: Visual Assets -> Quotes
