The Guest Journey Now Runs Itself

I sat down and walked through my own guest workflow like a stranger would. Book a time on my show. Wait for the confirmation. Get reminded before the recording. Maybe even see the questions ahead of time.

Half of it wasn't there.

The booking page told guests "a confirmation email has been sent", and no email had been sent. The reminder emails existed in the code but were switched off. The run of show and interview questions only showed up if you knew about a button three screens deep. And there was no way to share those questions with a guest at all, even though the system had already written them.

So we closed all four gaps at once.

Now when someone books through your PodGlue page, they actually get the confirmation with a calendar invite attached. Two days before the recording they get a prep reminder, and the morning of, a join-link nudge, on by default for new workspaces, no setup ritual. When you turn a booking into an episode, PodGlue drafts the run of show and your interview questions in the background, using what the guest told you on the intake form, their bio, the hobby they want to talk about, how you met. And when the questions are ready, there's a button that emails the guest-friendly ones to your guest, with your private host notes staying private.

Here's the concrete version: a guest books Tuesday at 2pm. By 2:01 they have a confirmation and a calendar invite. You hit one button and the episode exists with a plan attached. Sunday they get the prep email. Tuesday morning, the join link. Somewhere in between, you send them the questions with one click. None of that was a copy-paste.

The through-line for me is the same one behind all of PodGlue: the episode is a byproduct, the relationship is the asset. A guest who felt taken care of before the recording tells other people about it after.
