Place the graphic where the conversation happens

I have been manually entering guest names and question text in Ecamm. PodGlue already knows who the guest is and what the show looks like, so I wanted those details to travel into the recording workflow.

The live overlay gave us that connection. Now we are bringing the same graphics into the edit.

The Transcript Editor has a Graphics panel. You can select a word or phrase, choose Add graphic here, and edit the wording, layout and how long it should stay on screen.

Your show's colors and logo provide the starting point. When you have confirmed who's speaking, you can also review a name suggestion and choose whether to keep it.

Nothing gets added just because a suggestion exists.

Say you ask, “How do you find peace in a noisy world?” You can select that sentence and place a question graphic at its first word.

A small marker takes you back to that spot. If you cut the word where the graphic begins, the panel marks it Removed by a cut. Restore the cut and the graphic comes back. If two graphics would appear together, the editor asks you to shorten or remove one before saving.

You can undo the graphic changes along with your cuts.

This is the placement and editing part. There is a graphic preview in the panel, but showing it over the video during playback and exporting the finished video with graphics are still next.

I want the names, questions and branding we already have to stay useful from preparation through recording and editing. That's the connection we're building in PodGlue.
