On the PodGlue community home page there's a row called "From the Blog", recent essays, each one a card you can click to jump into the discussion thread.
Clicking one worked. But it worked the slow way. Instead of quietly opening the thread, the whole site reloaded, blank for a beat, then everything painted back in. You got where you were going; it just felt like the long way round.
The reason was unglamorous. The cards pointed at an address that didn't quite exist, so the site gave up on the quick in-app jump and did a full reload instead. A few people on Safari also picked up a quiet error in the background from our analytics snippet, invisible if you weren't looking, but it shouldn't have been there.
Both are fixed now. The cards point at the real thread address, so clicking one opens it instantly, the way it always should have. And the Safari error is gone.
It's a small thing. Nobody wrote in about it. But this is the part of building a product that doesn't show up on a roadmap, the hundred tiny frictions between "it works" and "it feels good." We're going through them one at a time.
