When we first built the guest side of PodGlue, the dashboard was essentially one long page. Everything was there, your public profile editor, your saved appearances, search, the knowledge base, but to get to any of it you had to scroll past everything else.
That's fine when you're just getting started. It's not fine when you're actually using the tool.
We rebuilt the guest dashboard this week as a proper workspace.
The pill nav at the top is gone. In its place: a left sidebar, the same kind we use in the main PodGlue app, with five destinations.
Overview is the home base. It shows your stats at a glance and links you back to wherever you were working last.
My Page is where you manage your public portfolio at podglue.com/@you, sections, order, featured episode, your CTA.
Appearances is where you find and import episodes: search Podchaser, search the web, paste a link, or let the Taddy search surface episodes you've been on across platforms.
Knowledge Base is your private research layer, search your transcripts, browse by topic, star quotes to your Quote Bank.
Settings is settings. Password, account, the basics.
One thing we cleaned up in this pass: the old dashboard had two ways to edit your public profile. I didn't notice at first. A new user probably would have, and they would have been confused.
My Page is now the only place that lives. One editor, one truth.
We also removed a card that showed up on the old dashboard listing PodGlue's internal roadmap items. That was never meant to be user-facing, it leaked from a development session and stayed there longer than it should have. Gone now.
If you've been using the guest app, everything you had before is still there. It's just organized so you can actually find it.
The guest side of PodGlue is where we're investing most of our energy right now. The portfolio page, the knowledge base, the appearances importer, they're all built around the same question: what does a podcast guest actually need between appearances?
We're still figuring that out. But the desk is set up.
