Every host has sat in an empty Zoom room. You open the call on time, check your audio, and wait. Ten minutes. Fifteen. Nobody comes.
Until now, PodGlue gave you one thing to do about it: cancel the booking.
That was the wrong tool. Cancelling pulled the event off both calendars and sent the guest a cancellation email. A week later they would write back, "Wait, I didn't have anything on my calendar." And there was no record that they had missed the call at all.
What changed
You can now mark a booking as a no-show.
Once the call's start time has passed, open the booking and click Mark no-show. The call stays on your calendar, labelled as a no-show. Nothing is cancelled and nothing is deleted.
The happy follow-ups stop. Nobody gets a "thanks for a great conversation" email for a conversation that never happened.
By default, your guest gets a short "we missed you" note with a button to pick a new time. You can add a line of your own, or untick the box and handle it yourself.
What it looks like
Say a guest misses Thursday's pre-interview call.
You mark the no-show, add "No stress, grab another time that works", and move on with your day.
Your guest opens the email, picks Monday at 2pm, and gets the usual confirmation and calendar invite. Thursday's missed call is still on your calendar, and Monday's is right there with it.
If the same guest misses twice, their history shows it. That tells you something before you book a third time.
What is next
Right now you mark the no-show yourself. Next, I want PodGlue to check Zoom and notice when nobody joined, so the missed-call email can go out without you lifting a finger.
A guest who missed a call is not a lost guest. Most of the time it is a crossed calendar, and the right move is to make the second try easy. That is what PodGlue is for: keeping the relationship moving even when the first call doesn't happen.

What My Guests Were Actually Seeing
A guest told me their portal page looked empty. They were right, and the reason was worse than I expected.
I Built the Warning, Then Walked Around It
PodGlue tells you whether your guest already got the 'your episode is live' email. Unless you sent it yourself, in which case it told you nobody had.
