A few weeks ago I read an article that moves a reader from a free guide into a paid membership. It hooks you with a problem you already feel, hands you real value for free, and then shows you where the work gets easier if you keep going.
I read it and thought: that's my page.
What was wrong
PodGlue has a free guide called the AI voice profile. Six prompts. You run each one in ChatGPT or Claude, and the AI interviews you until it can write like you.
The prompts are good. People can use them without signing up for anything.
That was the problem. Someone could work through all six, finish with a real voice profile, and leave. I'd never know they were there. The only way to join the waitlist was one link at the very bottom, after six long prompt cards.
The finish line was a paragraph of text. No next step at all.
What shipped
The page now opens with the problem: every AI tool writes the same beige show notes, because it has never heard you talk.
Right under that is a before and after. It's an illustration, and the page says so. It is not a real show's output.
After the second prompt, when you've done enough work to feel the effort, there's a short note. Right now you carry these documents into a chat window every time you want something written. Inside PodGlue you upload them once. There's a name and email box under it.
When you finish all six, the page asks you to put them to work, with the same box.
The prompts are still free and still open. Nothing is locked behind an email.
One thing it does not say
It doesn't say PodGlue builds your voice profile from your episodes. It doesn't. Today you build the six documents yourself with the prompts, then upload them once.
I'd rather sell you what exists.
What's next
I want to know if the moment after prompt two is the right moment, or too early. The page now tracks where people sign up, so I'll find out.
And a welcome email for the people who join, so the waitlist isn't silence.
If you've been meaning to try it, the guide is at podglue.com/ai-voice-profile. It takes about an hour, and you keep everything you make.
That's the whole point of PodGlue: the work you do to be remembered shouldn't disappear when you close the tab.
Don’t just read the build. Shape it.
PodGlue is built from conversations with hosts, guests, producers, and agencies doing the work. What does The Page That Gave Everything Away and Asked for Nothing look like in your workflow?

The Day the Tolerance Ran Out
Doreca Delbridge told me her tolerance for things she doesn't enjoy started going down the year she turned forty. Three years later she's still redesigning her business around that. It's the most honest framing of a creator's career I've heard this year.

Adam Bird watched the PodGlue book builder for ninety seconds and said it should be a standalone product. He's probably right. That doesn't mean I'm doing it yet.

Instacart raised $44M and I quietly stopped building. Twelve years later, a $425M creator economy raise is teaching me the same lesson, except this time I'm not putting the laptop down.
